Regarding Revit software issue

I have got an issue when iam trying to convert to model in place  into a family by making it into a group .and then iam trying to save as it  in library as a family  and then a pop window appear it ishow me .rft format only 

But I want save as .rfa format .

Plz help me to solve it.

i dont think it is feasible to save groups as families through the UI, but maybe with whith the API...

Group the In-Place Model while in Editing Mode, right-click the Group Name in the Project Browser and click "Save-As".

well barth, i think he only want to save some in place families, not all of them.

The procedure I explained does not save "all of them".  Read my post again.
