Reflected Ceiling Plans

The Reflected Ceiling Plan (Basement Level) is not showing the correct spot elevations, so how to make the elevations correct (-18.5'below grade)?

Select your Spot elevation, select edit type, and change the Elevation Base.

Hello:

The Elevation Base only have Relative, Project & Survey points. How would I designate an actual spot elevation?

Thanks,
TS

Spot Elevations have to be based off a location. Mine usually align to the same Elevation Base as my Levels.

Choose Relative spot elevation type and select Basement level for elevation base on the option bar of the spot elevation instance.

Below Grade or below the Floor Level above it?  Big difference.

Out of curiosity, what are you calling out elevations of in RCP?

Spot elevations on RCP's are to locate ceiling changes (i.e., Soffits, Fascia modifications, sculpting elements, etc.), so it is very common to have Spot Elevations on RCP's.

I wasn't questioning the use of Spot Elevations in RCP. I was curious what you were tagging in RCP that was 18' 6" below Grade.

Ceiling-mounted Athletic Courts?  Interesting.  How about gravity? Is it upside-down too?

No, the athletic courts will not ceiling mounted...not in this lifetime anyway.
