Referencing sheets

Hi,

I am wondering about how Revit references sheets; When I place a section in my General arrangements floor plan, that section appears in my roof plans and concrete set out plans as well. So far so good. But when I place the section on a sheet and apply a view title with a back reference then the back reference becomes the concrete setout plan and not my general arrangement plan which it was created in. How can I change this (besides turning off my sections in all other views than the GA's? Is there a way to tell Revit WHERE/what view you want it to reference it from?

Thank you kindly.

@Anonymous  No other way unless you hide it every view. the best you can do is to create a view template and untick the section and apply to every floor plan you don't want to see the section line. thanks

@ennujozlagam that's what I did, BUT now theer's talk about having them in other views as well and I'm just worried about the referencing.

Thanks for the advise. 🙂
