Create another Ref. Plane that uses that Line Pattern under Object Styles.

Is there a way to make the centerline visible in 4 views like a reference plane would be shown in 4 views ?

You mean you want to do both types overlapping and only have one showing in the View?  If so, then Hide one Type in the View.  If this is not what you mean, then provide a fuller explanation.

Yeah. Go to Plan View and draw x & y RPs intersecting at the center.  Now all Elevation Views will show them.

Reference plane works like Grids... ( Rather Grids work like RP though ),

Idea is Grids in East / West Elevations won't show in South/North Elevation...

same things goes for Reference Planes.

also note : RP show only when the view is Perpendicular to the RP.

If you draw a simple model line in the center.. it will show up in all 4 elevations.. as well as 3d..

further if you want to use it as a reference then you may change its type to " invisible model line", " model line dash " " model line projection" etc..

cheers

if you do the model line technique I'm assuming you can turn the graphics off so it wont appear in 3d? and that

same model line you showed in all 4 views is that the same line?

Model lines always show in 3D unless:

- keep them in a subcategory can turn off the subcategory

- keep them invisible for certain detail level (for example: invisible for Coarse, visible for Medium and Fine), and set the view to Coarse or override the category to Coarse in that view

However, I would not use a model line for what you are doing because they will be obscured by other components in the family.  Draw a symbolic line on Front/Back elevation and a symbolic line on Left/Right elevation in the family.
