REF LEVEL VIEW OF WALL BASED HIGHER OBJECT IN FAMILY CREATION

Hi Team

wondering where I reset the view levels as when I put a higher extrusion etc on a wall I cant see it in the plan view - ref view? 

in this view it does not exist?

but its obviously there and there is a view level or something below it but no specific view setting I can find in family creation?

Click on the drop-down that says Family:  Generic Models, and choose Plan view, or highlight the view from the browser and edit view range from properties.
