This is a structural footing that is part of a linked Revit file. The footing which is under the category structural foundation has a cutline weight that looks like it about a 10 even though the object styles in my model are set to have a cutline of 3 for structural foundations. The view template also has no overrides for structural foundations. The view template also has the linked model set to by hosting view. So I'm stumped on why these structural foundations are coming through so heavy.. Anyone have a guess?

It is already set to host view
- Tab on that piece and confirm its Category
- Change the link to Custom, expand the Category see is any subcategories and change their Cut line to 3
- You can highlight it, copy and paste to you model, then edit the family and see
It's set to BY HOST now? Can you ID the Linework? If not, then the only option is to go into VGOs and hunt around for it. Might be coming from a family. Might be...heck, your guess is as good as mine.
....have you ruled out Silhouettes?
I have a guess for you. Maybe it's Rebar.
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner?
With regard to line weight, I don't believe that the linked file takes any notice of the host file settings. We use transfer project standards to push our line weights into the linked file but this could miss custom subcategories.
This is still a mystery. Made a video to show. Sorry for the length. Appreciate your help!
1. V/G Overrides RVT Links is not checked in your View Template, so edit it for the View Template has zero effects on your view whatsoever. You need to edit it directly via VG of the View itself, not via the View Template.
2. You never expanded to see the Structural Foundation subcategories of the Link. Doing it via Object Styles means nothing because your model's Object Styles may not include the link's subcategories.
Ding ding ding! Ok if something is not included in the template we have to check VG of view. Makes perfect sense. All the views had a VG override on cut lines of the link.
One thing though. One point 2... How do we view the link's subcategories? Through VG then into the link? Or is there some way within the linked project?
