Realistic Plan View - Troffer light fixtures in RCP showing as black instead of white

I'm in "Realistic View" on an RCP and for whatever reason the troffer lights are showing up as black, instead of white.

They show up white in all the other Visual Styles.

Realistic in RCP?

Anyhow, that's how chrome looks.  RCP is never going to work well with chrome, but you can improve it by making it less "reflective". Try different Finishes (e.g. Brushed.  Satin, Semi-Polished, whatever).  Under the Material's

Appearance tab.

I'll add that you could model two boxes with two different Materials in the Family. Place them in different Sub-Categories and then you can specify which Box/Sub-Category is visible/not visible through VGOs.

Thank you, you don't know how many times I thought the chrome material was the issue but for whatever reason I shrugged it off. I changed the light box material to "white" (for now) and it worked!
