Hi everyone,
I would like to know how to calculate the beams volume precisely.
The problem is that the beams volume is "altered" when those are in contact with another elements (especially walls).
I'd prefer to calculate the volume by means of the formula (base*height*length) but the problem is the length which varies depending on the kind of joint.
I have to use the switch join order tool and I obtain the real length (cut length).
Is there any way to get the real value directly.

read the comments below the images as well, about using Cut Length parameter and formulas.

Thanks for the reply,
That's exactly the method that I use but the problem is that I need to use the switch join order tool to obtain the real length (cut length in this case) when the beam is supported by two walls.
I was wondering if there is another workaround because in my opinion that's not splendid in therms of fluently and precision.
