RE: Curtain Wall Family & Array

I want to create a curtain wall family to use as façade systems. The structural element is vertical C channels in 450mm CC spacing.

Once I create the array in curtain wall family and define the array, (width of family/ 450+1) and

Load into the project. The spacing is completely different in the curtain wall in the project (not related to -distance/450).

Ideally, the distance should be 450  spacing and the balance(less than 450 can leftover)

Please find the sketchers attached Capture 2.JPGCapture 3.JPGCapture1.JPG

Appreciate your assistance to fix this issue

Huh? I'm lost. How does an Array in a Loadable Family relate to a Curtain Wall System Family?

It's not about curtain wall right?

See if this helps?

Uncheck "Adjust for Mullion Size" in Curtain Wall Properties.

Thanks for your response, I will try this method and give you feedback.

These are structural elements of the facade modular panels of a building( should function as curtain walls). There are other layers will add after the main structural element functioning.

Appreciate if you could suggest for the following question too:

Further, when this family load into the project, is there any function could I used for tagging/ or auto-tagging the drawing file.

E.g. When this family used as a facade/ wall in a project- the shop drawing/ detail drawing should able to create without too much effort. Easily able to tag each element ( Structural C channel, RHS, rubber gasket, etc.), I want the similar function as an inquiry tool, yet should able to use in the drawing sheet environment.

Thanks and BR

Yes. Edit the Structural Column, tick the Shared box and load it back to your family. Then you will be able to      tag it in the project use the TAB key.
