Hi All,
Here is what I want to do.
1. Link Cad
2. Aquire coordinates.
3. Rotate the linked cad
4. Re aquire the coordinates.
I get the error "The coordinate system of the selected model is the same as the host model".
Is there a way to re aquire the coordinates after moving or rotating the link?

Hello! Can I ask why are you are rotating it after aquireing the co-ordinates in the first place?

See above.
That's kind of why I asked as that would have been my thought. Why aquire in the first place if your going to change its position?
@Anonymous: Are you Linking in a CAD Survey/Site? If so, you may want to set up True North, which requires inputting the actual angle that you are rotating the link. FWIW.
Please see AKN article: Revit: How to coordinate new model into existing shared coordinates
and let me know if this helps.

This is actually the solution for us. Kind of stupid I didn't see this.
We want to rotate the situation because the exact location of the villa isn't sure in the early stadium of the design. Coordinates are indeed not necessary in this stadium...
Thanks!
The reason that Revit is throwing up that message the second time you try to Aquire is not because you previously Acquired. The reason is because the Link has multiple Named Sites. You can confirm what I saying by pressing the Change button in the Choose Site Dialog Box I posted above. When you do, you will see more than one Site Name. If you delete them both, and exit the Dialog Box, and you can Acquired Coordinate all you want using the Acquire Coordinates on the Manage Tab. If you don't want to delete in Named Sites, then you can just keep pressing Record and Okay in the Choose Site Dialog Box each time you need to rotate.
