So I'm trying to show my ceiling height on my RCP, and I want it to show the height to the bottom of the core, but everything I've tried so far only shows me the height to the face of finish.
I have a 9'-0" top plate, so this puts the bottom of my ceiling joists at 9'-0" AFF. This is the measurement I want to show as my ceiling height because this is the measurement the contractor and framers care about. Instead, both the ceiling tag and the spot elevation tag show 8'-11 3/8" AFF because it is measuring to the bottom of the 5/8" gyp. bd. finish.
Is this something that is just built into Revit or do I have to do a tricky and time consuming workaround for this? How can I go about showing the ceiling height I want?
thanks
