Raster image does not show

Hello!
I have applied a material with a raster image on an In-Place object. It shows up on the object while editing but goes away after that. I have tried this material on several other objects that are not In-Place but it never shows up. The image does display in the browser.
Best,
Jakob

Do you mean you have a Material with a Render Appearance Image?

The operative word here is "Render". The Appearance Image shows up in Realistic Mode and Rendering.

The image does not show up in renders either which is very surprising. Only when I edit the form.

you have to be aware that the bitmap inserted in Edit Mode is visible only there and in order to be seen in Project , Rendering  you have:

  • either to make a material that contains that bitmap
  • or to use that bitmap as Decal

As you can see here Revit worn you that the bitmap will not be seen in Project as inserted into the family..
