Hi!I'm having a little trouble controlling embbed the Curtain wall.
In the example:
2 walls running in parallel (ALC and Basic wall inner). when I create a glass frame with Curtain Wall (CW) located on the Core Center of the inner wall, Revit creates an open wall for the CW. when I offset CW below 200mm the Open wall still shows. But above 200mm its gone、 So i need edit profile Basic wall.
Is there any Parameter to control this range of embbed?!
Thanks for any help
Shouldn't be acting that way. I'm thinking a Hidden Constraint possibly. Post the fie so we can see what's going on.
The range is 20cm. If you want separate them farther apart, then create an empty curtain wall and constrain the size to the real curtain wall, to cut the wall.
Hi!
My goal in this is to optimize the operation. So, creating or editing profiles takes more time.
Thanks for your suggestion

I don't quite understand what you want to know
Well, if you look at my screenshots, you can see the CW extended all over the place - top, bottom, left, right - without affecting the window opening location or cut-through in the parallel Basic Wall. Is this what you what to achieve?
In many other cases. The distance between the 2 walls will be even bigger. example is 300 or 400. Then the position of the CW will also move further away from the Basic Wall. Then the open wall will no longer exist.

Say what???
Is this what you are after? A window jamb extension?
Is that seriously what you want??? An automatic jamb extension spanning the empty space between two wall types?
