Raked pitching line

Hi All,

I have just drawn a veranda with a gable roof centre section.

The gable roof centre section pitching line follows the flat roof sides.

As you will see from the roof line plan I spread these out on quite an angle to get it to look right and had to mask the bits hanging below the skillion roof side sections.

It there a better way to do this.  Eg. to set a raked pitching point or configure all as a single roof?

I would model it as a flat roof then modify sub-elements to create the slopes.

Is this what you are after?

Looks like you are almost there. Just extend it into the Roof and use the Join Geometry tool to join the two geometries together.  Bada bing.

Just want to say thanks for your help.  Got it to work. Hadn't used or known about the modify the sub-elements before.

New problem = learn new things.

thanks

Dave
