Railroad on ground lvl

Hi, I would like to create rails that cut the floor, are a specific hight beneath the floor lvl (dont need to though, its enough if it looks like that in 3d view) and that I can drag like a rail.

I created a Rail family for a normal railroad, just cant wrap my head around how to create similar for a railroad that ends on road lvl. I Try to model something like this: Railroad ground lvl

I appreciate any help :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

Create track-width thick wall atop the floor/road, offset the base of the wall the distance the track with be inset into the floor/road and join the two geometries together in the correct join order and a then hide the wall. Voila a recess is created for your rail track in the floor/road.  That's one way to do it.  There are plenty more.

You could create the track opening in the floor sketch.  Make the floor in two parts: asphaltic concrete (with track) atop a base layer representing maybe crushed rock.

BTW- regarding Family: if you want a family to host to a surface, model it in a Face hosted RTE - or, if Level hosted,  check Work Plane-Based and uncheck always. Additionally, an unattached Void in the Family will cut a System Family, such as a Floor, in the Project using Cut Geometry.  To be able to do this, check "Cuts with Void when Loaded" in the Family.
