Railings not shown in plan when top rail is turned off

I'm trying to create a road lane markings family, through railings. But when I turn of top rail, balusters, which represent lines, are not shown in any plan view.

It's not visibility graphics, it's not view range.

Any idea what's going on here, I followed a tutorial by RevitKid and he makes it work, no issues.

File attached.

Why do you turn off Top Rail?  Isn't it presenting the marking?

No,  top rail is continuous, road lines need to be dashed so balusters are used.

Your baluster family has only a 3d element, which is invisible for Plan/RCP.  Add a symbolic line to the family then you will see it in the project.

Wow, such a beginner mistake to make. I am a beginner, but still :grinsendes_Gesicht_mit_lächelnden_Augen:

Thank you!

Any down sides to checking the plan/RCP box so the baluster itself is visible in plan? As long as this baluster isn't used in another rail that has a top rail...
