I've asked this question before. And I realize that many people have complaints about Revit railings.
Question: How to adjust the bottom extension of my railing. The total railing is set to 3'-0" height and I have terminations on both ends. The line at the top is where my floor will be placed. I just always check "end with riser".
I've been using Revit for 2 years now and have found work arounds (creating custom terminations with angle parameters and what not....
Okay so Revit offers the "landing height adjustment". But a landing can only be inserted mid span or at the top of the stair. I never have an issue with my railing flexing here. It always poses an issue at the base of the stair... Therefore the "landing height adjustment" is useless for my scenario.
Second option Revit offers for adjusting a railing is to use the "height correction" by custom. But you must split the rail at the end and it will only adjust it if that split line is 12" or longer. And it doesn't correct it the way I want. railing just looks dumb.
Maybe I've missed something for the last 2 years. Or maybe the next version of Revit can fix this.
Thanks

My Revit applies Landing Height Adjustment to bottom as well. What version of Revit are you on?
