"Stretchable Mullions"

Hi guys, working on a project where the curtain wall mullions are all extendable? its very handy. just wondering if you guys now how this was achieved as i cant figure it out.

 

(see attached)

i'm using 2018 at the moment and am mainly Mechanical biased so please bare with me on the Architectural.

 

any help greatly appreciated.

Looks like that is not a Curtainwall, more likely an in-place Generic Model.

i believe you are correct as its type is "windows 1"

i will look for some tutorials on how to best replicate this.

Hi @slawrence

Seems like it was made by model in place-extrusion.

it's very adaptive but modeling in palce isn't very parametric way to work' means that if you will want to make changes im not sure you will benefit from it.. in curtain wall you can easy change mullions/panels, add or remove or move segments.. think about it again.

it was modelled ontop of a pointcloud. so maybe pretty handy in that instance! however i definitely need to further my knowledge on the architectural side.
