I keep getting this message when I load doors into my 2017 Revit. It doesn't matter what kind of door I load into the program I keep getting this message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is a typical message from the Revit API. It means that it is 'busy' implement modifications to the project, resulting that it is not allowed to start making new modifications. My first advice would be to check if you have add-ins/extension loaded into Revit. It is possible that one of the add-ins is interfering.
Try uninstalling/removing your add-ins and see if it fixes your problem.
Also have look at updates for your Revit

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Another thing to try would be temporarily turning off all Add-ins to see if the message disappears. Here's a link on How to disable add-ins for Revit. If this works you can then start to reintroduce them a few at a time to see if you can narrow down to the problem one.

So I have tried installing updated and also removing the add-ins and I still get this problem with this file.
I have also tried open a new revit template file and an older file and importing a door this error also occrus when it preoviously didnt.
Any other thoughts on how to fix this error.

Have you tried auditing your file when opening it, just in case?
(check the audit option in the "open..." window)
