Hello there,

I am trying to cut through a Solid Mass using a Void Mass but I get the error message as shown in the pictures.

What is causing the problem & How to fix it ?

I already saw other posts regarding this issue but nothing specifically helped me, Also tried to do it in both 2023 Version and 2024 Version.

Thanks.

The solid and the void need to be in the same In Place instance.

Draw the solid, finish sketch.

Finish inplace.inplace void.jpg

Try extending the void beyond the solid mass.

Thank you for your reply, but they're at the same instance from what I see.

Hello again guys.

Apparently I figured what was the problem...

I was trying to make another independent void mass instead of modifying the mass I am already on, That's why it couldn't see the mass I was trying to cut.

Thank you all for your precious time.
