"Find in Project Browser" command missing in Windows 11

I just upgraded to a new PC running Windows 11, and in Revit 2022 the Find in Project Browser command is missing. I've been using this command often on Revit 2022 and 2023 projects on my old PC and I'm not sure why I'm not seeing it anymore on my new PC. The only thing I could think of was the different operating systems (Windows 10 vs 11). I'll see if I have the same issue on Revit 2023 tomorrow.

Update Revit 2022 to the latest build.

should work down to R2019

Make sure all GPU and chipset drivers are up to date. Don't use the W11 drivers, go to manufacturer page. 

I assume it was a fresh w11 install, and not just an in-place upgrade from W10? If it wasn't, do a fresh install (this always is best).

Does anyone else in your form have the same configuration and problem? 

I know you probably can't upgrade to R2024. but if you can install that, you can try out and see if it works there. That may narrow down if it is a problem with your specific PC setup.

I think you're right. I assumed IT would install the latest versions of Revit but it's outdated.

hi, I am using revit 2022 now, the 'find in project browser' is not working and there is no way i can update revit 2022

For most problems the exact Revit version inc. updates is important. Looks like 2022.1.8 is the final version. 

What do yo mean you cannot upgrade?
