Hello,
I have been trying to detach a file and save to a flash drive. After doing so, I could not open the detached file and received the "Failed to open document" error message. In trying to figure out why that might be, I can no longer open the original file. I wonder if I may have accidentally changed a file location setting?
Issue 1: Cannot open detached file that was saved on different drive.
Issue 2: Now cannot open original file.

same as @barthbradley ..... opened fine. i opened with Detached from Central checked, Audit also checked. once opened i purged all unused and saved. when i saved i also checked the Compact Central Model. it took the 195mg file down to 57mg.....
i noticed the default path in the Sync to Central was an "E:/" drive. i assume that is your flash drive path? are you sure your flash drive has plenty of free space?
