"Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.ArgumentException:" on start-up.

Hi all

 

Everytime I start up my Revit 2020 I recieve an error message saying:

 

Fout:Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.ArgumentException: HelpPath is null or empty.

  at Autodesk.Revit.UI.ContextualHelp..ctor(ContextualHelpType

helptype, String helpPath)

  at RevitDBBImport.StartApp.OnStartup(UIControlledApplication

ContApplication)

 

I can click OK and continue working without any problems. What is this error-message saying and how do I get rid of this? My OS is Windows 10 and current Revit version is 2020. If I need to provide more information to solve this issue please let me know,

Looks like an error with the DB Link add-in. See what happens when you remove that add-in.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

I have updatet, repaired and un-installed the add-in. On all occasions I still received the error message when I start up Revit. Are there any other suggestions to resolve this problem?

Hey Richard, on recognizing the error to be Dutch (Fout:) i realized i've had that same error.

I would look into the BouwConnect plugin.... that solved it for us.

After deleting the BouwConnect-plugin the error message has gone.
