"attach" vs "join"

hi

can anyone explain what is the different of "join" and 
"attach" ? both command seems to do the same.

When you give the attach command to link the wall to the floor it automatically joins the elements, if it is the same material graphically you will even see this, or when you use the trim command (and its variables), these are tools in which the join is already included automatically, just like when you make a wall from an existing one and automatically they come together.

However, there are times when the element is not joined and you want to join. so you can only use the Join tool, and you have your variables between join Geoetry, Unjoin Geometri or Swicth Join order. So you can give priority to element during the union.
