Quick Poll: Casework Upper Cabinet Family/Host Type

What kind of Revit family do you use for upper wall cabinets?

  1. Wall-Based Host
  2. Face-Based Host
  3. Level-Based Host
  4. Floor-Based Host
  5. Ceiling-Based Host
  6. Some combination or other

Thank you!

I find using non-host works best. In the non-host, you can change it to workplane base to make it face base. Reason I choose non-host is if you want your cabinets in group, you wouldn't have group breaking on you. With hosting, you need to make sure you have host object place inside the group or it will break your group.
