Quality problem when I convert to pdf

 I have a problem when I convert to PDF, in the photo on the left you can see that the lines of the walls and the details look good (model that I made with the same template) and on the right side is another section of a new project which is made with the same template, but when converting to PDF, it comes out with poor quality (except annotations, levels, and texts), could someone please help me.

Looks like the image to the left is made without line weights? How do you create the PDF's?

As Simon said the images you posted are Thin Line (left) vs an Image of a PDF Rastered Print/Export. You cannot really compare between the two. However, is this an Export or a Print? Qualitiy may vary a little between the two. 

 

In general PDF quality (particularly in Raster Processing) is or better say can disappointing. How disappointing it may be also depends on the line weight settings used vs the view scale you assign. The thicker the line and the more tone it has = the worse it gets. There are some PDF print drivers which has raster enhancing capabilities but even at its best, it would still not match vector processing prints. And when the view is shaded, the built in options in revit would only offer Raster Processing for both lines as well as shades

 

The best you can do is disable thin lines and check the lineweights setting for the scale you are using...then go with trial and error till you find the most suitable output for your presentation

I actually thought it was an issue with the line thickness being enabled, but that wasn’t the case. I tested both ways, and the issue persisted. Likewise, while viewing it in Bluebeam, I didn’t have the function enabled, and it still looks bad.

Thanks for your response. I tested both methods. What I’ve always done is convert to PDF, but since this issue came up, I tried printing to PDF, and the result was even worse.

I’m sharing another image where you can see that on the left (a project I did a week ago), the lines look very clear, even when zoomed in, while on the right (my current project, using the same template), the lines look terrible.

I’m not sure what button or function I might have pressed that caused this issue.

Maybe you are printing it as a draft quality or you are scaling the print rather than printingthe view to its scale...below is the quality of a printout using Revit's default pdf export using Raster Processing + Raster Quality High

 

Maybe you should try something else other than bluebeam to check if the later or its drivers are causing this

You are still comparing apples and oranges in the images you are posting. The image on the left is clearly thin-lines and the image on the right is not. How are you creating the image on the right? Are you taking a screenshot of the pdf, cropping it and zooming in? That'd explain why it is pixelated. 

 

What is the exact result you are looking for? Do you want it to look exactly like the image on the left?
