I wonder if someone can direct me to the right contacts at Autodesk USA or Sydney, Australia office for academic authors to discuss issues relevant to tutorial texts: copyright acknowledgements, proof copy obligations and approvals if any.
I have worked for Melbourne Polytechnic over the last 6 years as an Engineering and CAD instructor specialising if Revit. I have developed a series of booklets of very pictorial based work through tutorials suitable for engineering, architecture and interior design students; at both degree and vocational levels.
The learner is led through a building project beginning with base architecture discipline elements and then structural components and more detailed techniques are added to compose detailed sheets. I do believe my approach is different and innovative.
This body of work was extended into an online delivery platform using Moodle including 21 MP4 tuition videos.
I wish to publish a new version of this material and move onto phase two of this booklet series which will deal with MEP details and intensive collaboration BIM techniques linked to relevant industry standards and AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD P&ID and Recap 360 topography cloud data.
Phase three of this series will be based on actual construction case studies where the heating, cooling, reverse cycle and passive environmental predicted parameters are compared to the actual, measured building performance - monitored continuously live with cloud connected sensors.
I attached one of the series I have authored as a guide, BOOKLET D
