Properties Palette and Project Browser

Hi All,

I have an issue with my Property Pallet and Project Browser Pallete.

The issue is not the regular one we come accross where they dissapear and can't bring them back.

The issue is the default locstion of the palletes.

I want to have the palletes positioned by default on the left side of myscreen. I originally had it like that. I can put them on the side but that makes them a separate window.

I can work with this and everything, however when it comes to scree videoing my workflow (for business purposes) it does not capture the palletes for the reason that they are not on their diffault position, however if I put them in the default position, which is how it's displayed on the attached picture, I can't screen video my progress or even work as it does not leave me much viewing space.

Is it possible to change the default position to be on the left hand side without having to make them as separate windows?

Many thanks

Undock the Properties palette so that it is a separate window. Make it reasonably small. Grab it by it's top bar and drag it slowly towards the left edge of the main Revit window. When your cursor gets right next to the edge, you will be able to let go and the palette will snap into place.

I've recorded a little clip for you showing me manipulating two palettes.

Worked like a charm!

For some reason I couldn't fit it on the side but only at the top. Thank you ever so much!
