Properties greyed out

I am wanting to change the style of my elevations, but a lot of things in the properties and display options box are greyed out so I can't change them. 

How do I turn on manual controls to be able to adjust my elevation view style?

Edit the View Template.

Looks like you have view template added. You want to turn off the view template so you can modify the view manually.
