Projecting a floor onto a toposurface to replicate a road?

I have created a toposurface of a large site using a DWG file but I'm wondering how to model roads that follow the contours of the toposurface?  Attached is a picture of the model with roads I've simply created as 12" generic floors.  The change in elevation is pretty minor but still would like to get this road projected into the topography.  Thanks

figured it out but can't figure out how to delete this post lol so if anyone can explain that that would also be helpful. The button with the 3 dots on the top right doesn't have a delete option.

Create subregions from the topo and assign materials.

There is an app where it allows you to align floor with topo but it isn't free

Also you can use dynamo to get what you want.

If you want alternative, I would create railing profile of a road and then host it on topo to give you the road.

Something like this?

Road823.png

1. Create a Subregion

2. Export Subregion to DWG

3. Start an In-Place Mass session

4. Insert Subregion DWG (via Insert CAD) into In-Place Mass session

5. Finish and close out of In-Place Mass session. Ignore Warning.

6. Press Roof by Face (Massing & Site Tab), Window-Select the entire Mass and press Create Roof.  Note "Picked Faces Location" Parameter under Roof Instance Properties.
