Hi all,

I wonder if there is a way to add a project parameter to a certain family instead of whole category (e.g. Generic model)

I think you're looking to use shared parameters? Mentioned in the link above also, but a bit more the direction you're looking for maybe. Is it for scheduling?

Hi,

It is for Dynamo coding but in forum They told me not possible

the point of a Project Parameter is to apply the parameter to the whole projector based on Category. why not just make a Generic Model with a Shared Parameter in it instead of a Project Parameter, like @martijn_pater suggests

Using Shared parameter is an Idea, but for dyanamo coding it was not working.

Nevermind

I'm not that advanced with Dynamo, but I think you could perhaps use Element.SetParameterByName node to set some shared parameter value(s)...

You can just use Family Parameter for Dynamo.
