Hi all,

I wonder if there is a way to add a project parameter to a certain family instead of whole category (e.g. Generic model)

I think you're looking to use shared parameters? Mentioned in the link above also, but a bit more the direction you're looking for maybe. Is it for scheduling?

It is for Dynamo coding but in forum They told me not possible

Still unclear what you're trying to do, perhaps if you elaborate some more. But I suppose if on a Dynamo forum it is said to be impossible, then I guess it most likely is...

the point of a Project Parameter is to apply the parameter to the whole projector based on Category. why not just make a Generic Model with a Shared Parameter in it instead of a Project Parameter, like @martijn_pater suggests

Using Shared parameter is an Idea, but for dyanamo coding it was not working.

I'm not that advanced with Dynamo, but I think you could perhaps use Element.SetParameterByName node to set some shared parameter value(s)...

You can just use Family Parameter for Dynamo.
