I am trying to set up a schedule after not working with this particular schedule for some time. For some reason I am missing some fields that appear in the schedule in my previous project that uses the schedule. The parameters are in my current project, but they do not appear as Available Fields in my new project's schedule. Please advise. Images attached for clarification.
I wish Revit was more helpful is aiding diagnosis or trouble shooting withing the software. It is too easy to get caught in a rabbit hole.

When you try to add the project parameter and you expand "Structural Internal Loads" and "Structural Loads", you will notice that all subcategories look checked. What you actually need to do is uncheck them and recheck them. Click on "Internal Area Loads", hold shift key and click on "Point Loads", then click the box next to it to uncheck all, then click again to recheck them. Now your parameter will appear.
In the case you had, the parameter was not even appearing in the "Properties" palette when you select the element

BIM.Consultant,
Thank you, but I tried this and the issue persists. No change. No dice.
Again, thank you for contributing to my post.
Try checking all categories while adding the project parameter. After confirming the appearance in the schedule, unselect unwanted categories.

SOLVED: I ended up removing the three troublesome parameters and remaking them. This is obviously a system bug because my recreated parameters were the same as what I removed.
Autodesk - please fix this, as it is annoying and expensive time consumer to deal with buggy software.
Even if two parameters have the same name, they might be different (unique identification number). You should have copy-pasted the schedule from project to project, if you wanted to have the same parameters.
Also, I would make a simple table of texts and lines to do this, or do it in Excel or CAD, really. What is the advantage of this method of using a schedule of internal point loads to do a table of code analysis?
Hi
I have created new parameters in shared parameters dialog box. But when I opened project parameters to work on that parameter, The parameter I have shared is not available there. the only available one is occupant. Kindly help me to get out of this.
Creating shared parameters is only one half of the job. You need to add the shared parameters you created to your project as project parameters and assign them to the applicable categories.
I just had to do the same in Revit 2023. The problem persists.
I copied a schedule from one project to the next. The project parameters appeared in the new project, but were not available in the schedule as fields. I deleted and remade the parameters and then they became available fields to be added.
Yes, the POINT is that this is a bug. We shouldn't have to try this or try that. We've paid so much money for this app that it needs to be FIX by Autodesk and stop the waist of our time which cost us all money.
