Hello all!

I have used the label of Curent revision date in my covers, but I realized the Previous Bim Manager used the project issue date.

Could someone explain me the difference, benefits, best practice...

Thank you!!!!

Project Issue Date has exactly one value for the whole project file. So if you're always delivering everything on the same day and don't need to track history, you can use that.

Revision Date is managed by the built-in revisioning system. It lets you track the delivery history of each sheet independently. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2022/ENU/Revit-D...

If you want to have different issue dates on different sheets, but eschew using the built-in revisioning system (it does take some time to get the hang of it), then you can use Sheet Issue Date instead.
