I am not sure what exactly you want to accomplish but have the following statements in mind, maybe it can help you:
- if you want to lift your whole model you can change the project base point elevation parameter (this will lift the whole building in reference to the sea level)
- if you want to change relative zero level (for example, you want your second floor to have relative 0,00), you can detach project base point and change it's height value (elevation parameter)
- you can always link your model into another model and then set it to different height
- you can use phases if your floor will be demolished and then recreated on the other place
hope it helps
If you think linking is the best solution, you can find lots of articles and videos online.
It is very simple process, and if you use Revit 2017, use the option "Project Base point to Project base point" to overlap the models.
Good thing is that you can turn on/off whatever you want in the link, change graphics display for each model and elements and even prepare views in the link and then in the "main" model, just call one of prepared views.
It's powerful stuff.
