I've resorted to assigning the the Browser Organization workset to me to prevent it being changed by others on my team. But it seems odd that the Browser Organization would reset itself? Anyone experiencing this?
Sync resets the browser organization.

Are we talking about Browser Organization or are talking about what is collapsed and/or expanded? 'Cause they are different and that other thread is confusing.
I experience this from time to time. Usually I detached the central and resave the file seem to fix it.
You set/assigning project browser organization setting for your own workset and to prevent other user's to change it? But once you synchronized the next user's will also be able to see your project browser settings, which they don't want to see or want it to be? And there will be confusions among user's. By right, it is better to use your company created a template project browser setting so that everyone's see the same thing and can avoid misunderstandings and confusion in the workshared file. Just saying. Thanks

I'm still confused. The project browser organization and/or what is expanded/collapsed is saved to whatever the last person to synch had. I try to train people to collapse at the highest level of the tree as a courtesy to others. I make a comparison to a shared tool box. Close your drawers when you are done so that other people don't have to see what's in them unless they want to. It's called working well with others. Not everyone is good at that.
Why would you try to lock the project browser to suit your needs when you have others working in the model?
We have experienced this as well. For us, under the Views tab within the Browser Organization dialog, we prefer to keep "Phase" checked so that existing, demolition, and new construction views are sorted. The setting has behaved as expected and remained selected in the past. It has been defaulting back to "all" recently in one project that is in Revit 2020. The team members indicate that they have not changed the setting.
