I created an HVAC drawing using the Mechanical template. The 1st and 2nd Mech Plans are under different categories in the Project Browser, and HVAC is listed twice. Can someone please point me to a video or tutorial that covers the basics of how this browser organization is supposed to work and so I can correct whatever i am doing wrong? I'm using Revi 2021 and this is only for coordination - not for a full blown engineering model.

You have your Navigation Project Browser organized by Disipline and by type (or something like that) and you have the views with the same type, duplicated with different category. You must change the 2 - Mech view to Mechanical Discipline.
You can see that organization with right click on the Views (Discipline) name.
When you sort by Discipline, the sorting is Done by Discipline / By Sub-discipline / Family-Type...in your case
Floor plan 1-Mech is set to Discipline: Mechanical - Sub-discipline : HVAC - Family & type: Floor Plan
Floor plan 2-Mech is set to Discipline: Coordination - Sub-discipline : HVAC - Family & type: Floor Plan
To list all under the same tree branch:
Difference between Coordination and Mechanical would be the visibility of other non-mechanical model elements

Thank you folks for your comments, that worked for the plans, but I absolutely need to study this more as I really don't understand how the browser is groupie and sorting.
Wile we are on the subject of Mechanical plans, is it possible to draw a sloped section of duct by starting at one elevation as selected on the option bar, and ending at another elevation by selecting a different height? I can get a vertical offset OK, but can't draw a sloped section of duct.
You mean like this??

Thank you for this, although not what I was looking for. I was hoping that it was possible to specify a starting point height for a duct, then specify a different ending height, all while in plan.
Sorry, I have mistaken section/Segment of a duct for a view section....
In plan view you should be able to edit the elevation at start and end on the plan view only after placing it not while placing.. Otherwise place in section views
