Hi, I’m encountering a problem when trying to edit Toposolid points in a section view in Revit 2024. When I open a section view and attempt to select a point, all points in the view are selectable, including those in the back view. This makes it difficult to select the points closer to the section precisely. Is there a solution for this? I didn’t experience this issue in Revit 2023
We didn't have Toposolids in 2023.
Reduce your Far Clip Distance. Try an inch...or less.

Maybe I'm misreading you. Are you saying that you can't select just one single point in Modify Sub-Elements Edit Mode?
No, i mean. when im Modify Sub-Elements Edit Mode topo solid, in a section view, i can see all points, but in revit 2023 you only see points closer to section view or infront not in back like now in topo solid
Yah, I get what you are saying. Modify Sub-Elements doesn't respect the Section view extents. All points are visible. It's no different in past versions though. Test it. Modify Sub-Elements of a Floor in 2023.
This is, yet again, one of many reasons why the 2024 'toposolid' update is frustrating.
AUTODESK - PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS :
- Restore to us the TOPOSURFACE & BUILDING PADS
- Remove the errors of overlapping pads
At the very least, let us be able to set a negative height to a subdivided toposolid so as to excavate...!
We would be very grateful - Thank you!
