Problems with Recap PointCloud Model plotting-PDF file format in Revit

I'm working on a two-story custom house in Revit. Also, I've done a photogrammetry on the adjacent houses by using Google Earth Pro. Then, proceeded to Recap Photo and Recap Pro to create a point cloud model. I inserted the point cloud in Revit. When I do a plot or print preview in Revit, my point cloud shows up clearly. But, when I plot it directly from Revit or save it as a PDF file format, it doesn't come clear at all. The only areas on the point cloud, that shows any clear image, is in the backdrop. In the forefront, you can make out the outline of the adjacent houses, but it looks transparent and only see the points. Any workaround or suggestions? I'm using Revit 2020.2, Google Earth Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and trial version of Recap Photo & Recap Pro.

Hi there @cadster1962

I know that we have been discussing this issue via email, but I wanted to post the answer from development here so that others may be able to find it if running into the same issue.

The Print Preview window is a fixed detail level and resolution. This is often much lower than what the users are selecting. This causes the points to be much larger and display as a more fleshed out image. At this time the recommendation would be to print at a lower detail or resolution, and if this still does not give the desired effect, increase the points in the original cloud document.

Christian,

Sorry for just getting around responding back to your emails and voicemails. I'll go ahead and try both suggestions. Hopefully it will work. Thanks for your help.
