Problems with Cut Pattern A-CC-ConcPC on PDF - does not show

Hi,

We cannot get the cut pattern to show in our Revit 2016 on our pdf files, when we use the Cut Pattern A-CC-ConcPC, which is connected to the standard material A-Conc.

It will show on walls and floors, but whenever we use it in a family or a model inplace it disappears, like you can see on the picture attached.

Instead we use a region in our section views but that is - as you can guess, not rewarding in the long term.

I don't have that same fill pattern but you can swap it out in the family I attached and see if it works.  It works with the ootb fill cut Concrete.

Thank you for your suggestion :). And I could do that, but it does not solve the problem with the pattern. It is our standard pattern on concrete , the signature with the small dots and not the one were you can see a difference in pattern. Maybe it is a pattern that comes with the Danish template. I do not know. I just know it seems to be a standard pattern from Autodesk.

That family is a Generic Model. Do you happen to have any overrides in place for Generic Models? Either in View Graphics, or in Object Styles, or with View Filters? Try changing its category to Walls or Columns or something and see if that makes any difference.

I agree with @chrisplyler there must be an override of some sort...it prints fine for me...see attached.

I have not got any overrides on and no view filters And I have tried to change the family category but it does not help. it is only if I make the object with only walls or floors, not with a family or an inplace. I just realize that it might not be a revit pattern but something from a long lost template I keep dragging around. And that might be the problem.

OK, thank you for sending the pdf. I can see it works for you. I will try to look it all through one more time for any overrides. Thanks 🙂

As you wrote it might have something to do with the V/G overrides , and some how it did. I can not say what exactly. To make it work I went to the section template and under V/G overrides model I picked all off the overrides model and made them all active and then again removed the things I had removed before I changed the V/G overrides. So it looks exactly like before, but some how it activated the thing that made the pattern disappear before the manoeuvrer. So now I am all good.

Thank you for your help Revit_Whisperer and Chrisplyler 🙂
