When rendering out images for a walk-through, Revit stops at a certain number of files depending on complexity of model, not the complete walk-through. It does not lock up, it just stops. Windows 10, dual XEON chips, 64 GB Ram. (Station is 2 years old), Plenty of HD space.
Revit for his own does not work pretty well with the complex graphics the reason is because you do not use all your graphics power, is a Revit problem I recommend you for this particular task that you help with another software that allow doing better things with Revit, like Lumion or Enscape with this particular software you can do more realistic videos in a short of time and pretty easy.

Revit is very bad for these walkthroughs. Instead in the office we use Lumion, Enscape and LumenRT. You can try those.
