Hello, I have a problem with a polygonal window I created (picture 1) that does not look right in floor plan view. I made it by modifying a window from the Revit 2019 German library, it works perfectly fine except for this problem. It has an opening upper panel and fixed lower panel on the one side. The problem: When cutting through the upper panel, the cut profile will appear displaced on one side (picture 2).
When cutting through the lower panel again it doesn't look right (picture 3), even though this can be solved by setting the upper panel to be not visible in floor plan view (but still I don't understand why it happens). These panels are modeled as separate families and loaded into the window family. I want my floor plan to cut through the upper panel so that the opening symbol will be visible. I would appreciate any help/ideas.

What about changing the Visibility Settings for the Nested Polygonal Window Family? Either in the Parent Family or in the Nested Family itself.
...or change the View Range Cut Plane.
README:
Revit Windows and Doors not showing as expected | Revit 2019 | Autodesk Knowledge Network
REFR: Window & door families are not cut based on the cut plane defined in project views.
Instead they are cut based on the cut plane defined in the family's plan view.
Thank you, I figured it out! I had to change the View Range Cut Plane inside the nested window family, and make sure that it does not go through the angled side of the window (which meant I had to give a negative offset to it, because the Reference Level is not at the bottom - that's what confused me). Here is a picture of the final result.
