Greetings,
OS: Windows 10 (Updated)
Revit: 2020 With all the latest updates installed (there are also other Revit versions installed: 2021 and 2022
Issue: After performing all the available updates via Autodesk Desktop App, when starting Revit 2020 there is a problem with loading BIM Interoperability AddOns.
Revit is trying to load assemblies and DLL files from a folder which is not existing.
We tried:
1. Uninstall the AddOns and reisntall them, both from Desktop App and Autodesk Site.
2. Resetting Revit settings to default according to Autodesk instructions (regsitry and folder rename)
Nothing helps. Is there anything else we can try or is there no other choice but to completely reinstall Revit2020?
Thanks in advance.

Most probably a clean uninstall will fix that issue...Messing and moving around folders and changing System Registry manually sometimes does make the issue worse.
But first check for that CMApp.dll under the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Classification Manager\2020\Classification Manager
YOUTUBE | BIM | COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN | PARAMETRIC DESIGN | GENERATIVE DESIGN | VISUAL PROGRAMMING

Thank you, but this folder is nowhere to be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\Classification Manager\2020\Classification Manager
Anyway, i think that it is a reasonable advise not to keep tinkering with registry and files but to perform a clean reinstall. Thanks for the support.
Best regards.
Stas.
