problem with interior rendering

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,
I have a problem with interior rendering. I got always 100% dark result. In other words, the sun and light don't work. I checked the following:
- Sun setting is good.
- The light source is available in the light family.
- The material around the light source is glass.
- All the lights are ON.
- (Adjust Exposure) is good.
- In Edit Type of the light I tried several choices of Initial Intensity.
- In rendering window I tried all choices.
What can I do more to get a normal interior rendering?
PS: -Exterior rendering does normal except the lights don't work.
      - The rendering in all choices took unexpectedly very short time. But of course the result is totally dark image.

Thank you

can you upload the revit file so I can look at it?  It may be just a minor setting within the Revit rendering dialog box...pick a lighting scheme of "Interior:...".  Make sure all artificial lights are Checked within the Artificial lights dialog box to ensure they are turned on...Double check project location via Manage, Location

What happens if you change the 3d view mode to Realistic and Raytrace?

is this issue happening only on this one revit file?  can you reproduce the issue with any revit fie?  can you reproduce the error on any workstation...not just the current one?

Before I could render several interior sights. but I don't know what happened in the last time and I faced this problem with this and other files.
By the way, if I you don't mind to provide me with an e-mail that I can share this file with you via dropbox or e-mail.

I have the file now.  The problem is because your camera is placed inside the wall.  I moved the camera to the corner of the room (inside the room) instead of within the wall.  The rendering is no longer black...I tested the rendering in draft and medium level with sun/artificial interior settings.  Since I am running 2017 Revit, you will need to make the change to your file and then you will be good to go...

OOPS!!!
Thank you for all your responses.
I didn't expected such possibility so long I can see the interior scene.

It does perfectly as before.
Thanks again.
