Problem Windows Preview + AutoCAD (from Revit)

Hello guys,

There is a thing that is going on with the projects I'm working with. In Windows, on the side panel, it shows a nice and correct preview. But when I open it on AutoCAD, it shows a sheet being flipped/dissapeared.

Is there any way to solve this?

Note: The dwg file is exported fromout Revit.

These items are the crop view. These will not show in print if you printed. They are put into a "don't print" layer. and that's why they don't show in the windows preview.

If you don't want them to be exported to CAD, do it in revit by unchecking "crop view visible" for all your viewports.

Thanks for your reply Mostafa.
You say "If you don't want them to be exported", but I do want them to export. The left picture in my first post is from the Windows Preview Pane and that is exactly how I want to see it in AutoCAD. Even Revit itself shows it correct when wanting to export it (with or without the crop region):

go to your view > adjust your crop region> tick crop region (properties > extents) > after adjusting exact view you want to see > uncheck crop region and export to autocad. thanks

Tried it, but the results are the same. Revit shows it perfectly, just as I want. But whenever I open AutoCAD, it flips the model.

But I noticed something important though. Check the screenshot:

Uncheck "Export views on sheets and links as external references".

They aren't in seperated sheets. They are all in one model already, so that doesn't work @ToanDN
I'll see if I can get the AutoCAD (or Revit) file for you @ennujozlagam

@ennujozlagam I can't upload more than 75 MB. Can I mail it to you?
The file is approx 150 MB (I have no clue why).

Zipping it makes it 100 MB, still too much. I've sent you a PM.

Sorry I don't understand the wording. most of the families loaded are deleted and vertical gridline too ? I'm not sure if this is what you wanted to be? In AutoCAD you need to freeze the viewport. Thanks

Yes most of the things from out the project disappear. But that's just how we want it.

Everything shows great, except for that one viewport.
Locking in AutoCAD (how?) is not an option. Sometimes we have 100 sheets that needs to be exported to DWG.
Opening AutoCAD and adjust them all manually is terrible. Something should be done in Revit I think.

Thanks a lot of the effort @ennujozlagam

The issue is: we use a tool to make a sheetlist from the project. These views are sometimes 100+.
Manually adding sections and adjusting every viewport will be a pain in the *ss.

Same goes for the output results in AutoCAD. Can't change them all one by one.

There is something in Revit, which has to be (un)checked or modified in order to fix this simple but annoying problem.

Hope you understand me.
