Problem screen ribbon missing structure

training guide and have got stuck again. I've reached a point where I'm supposed to place some structural framing. My first instruction reads "On the Structure panel of the Structure tab, select the Beam button, as shown in Figure 8.34". The figure referred to shows this but there is no Structure tab on my screen, so there is no Structure panel and there is no Beam button to be found anywhere. This means that I cannot place any beams on my drawing unless there is another method which, of course I don't know about. How do I get the Structure tab to appear on my screen and why, Autodesk, WHY DON'T YOU TELL ME THIS IN THE

Go to the File menu, and go to Options. Under User Interface, check if the Structures tab is set to show.

why is this Autodesks fault?

did Autodesk provide the training guide or was this a 3rd party guide

in the out-of-the-box settings all the disciples are loaded (checked) in the User Interface by default.  You didn't mentions what version you are running. if your using 2021, when you opened Revit for the first time, your were asked a handful of questions to set up your "User Profile". depending on how you answered these questions, Revit will turn On or Off different user interface options.
