Problem: Lines on views doesn't print to PDF

Hi!

I have a weird problem where lines are dissappearing when printed to PDF.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I've tried three different plotters, Bluebeam, PDF XChange & CutePDF.

Did you create Parts from the floor? Is there a building pad below the floor?

I have seen this problem for years now in many different firms.  Though I do typically prefer to find what is causing the problem I have often resolved the problem changing the Print > Print Setup > Hidden line processing to "raster processing" instead of the preferred method by "vector processing".  It has always resolved the problem.  Typically people have this issue with ceiling plans.  I would love to know what actually causes this condition but typically everyone in here just pretends it is not a problem.

Sorry for you frustrations.

Hi

Lots of possibilities but am sure everyone faces this. I will try to share my experience resolving this.

1. Check Wireframe in view.. sometimes the view is in wire-frame and pdf created uses hidden line.

2. Vector vs Raster print, Raster print usually solves the issue.

3. Changing the material to new material which works is a good solution .

4. Line thickness of hatch pattern also plays a fare role..

5. Usually its a model hatch for ceiling, but better to cross check and use the correct one.

Would like to see more solutions from people who faced these kind of situation.

Cheers!

Turned out that the floor was two different objects at the same height (slab & floor at same level).
Offsetting properly made the problem go away.

Still weird that the shown view isn't the same as the printed one....

Thanks for the help!
