Problem in Revit material browser

While in Revit architecture, I go to make a new wall and put certain materials in the wall. I would click on the 3 dots next to <My Category> and the material browser does not come up or launch. Is there something in my settings that is not turned on?

Strange. What happens when you press "Materials" on the Manage Tab?

Nothing is coming up. in the manage tab when i press materials nothing comes up.

Something is messed up.  Try rebooting.  If problem persists, Repair your installation.

I have just reinstalled the program and the problem is still there. When clicking on the material browser, it still does not come up.

When re-installing, try the "Repair" option. It sounds like the Material Library files (matlib) did not get installed correctly.
