I want to show the mass and cost of the steel connection in schedules in Revit 2017. How can I do that?

There is a parameter for the weight of the steel member by length, and there is a parameter for cost. You have to enter the values and then set those parameters to calculate totals. Or, use shared parameters in families of structural connections, add those parameters to the schedule, enter values and calculate totals.

I can't find any dimension for the steel connection and I have no idea how to put ' knee of frame' into 'material takeoff' schedule.
