Good Afternoon everyone,
I'm writing to this forum because I'm a beginner and I'm creating a residential project on Revit.
However I have got a tough problem with stairs. Indeed, as you can see one the picture, the low steps of my stair case are cut and I tried to modify the slope but I'm not reaching to have correct steps. I'm quite sure that the solution is not too complicate but I do not know what to do. I know that making the staircase in Revit is not so easy and that is why if someone could help me to this subject, I will. be super grateful.
It's difficult to know whats wrong withhout knowing what you did. Perhaps you can copy the stair into a blank project (with the same level differences) and post it to the forum so that we can check.
Thank you for you message TimELZ49, is it possible to post a revit project in this post ?
If It is the case maybe I can make it.
Ok, Here is the project file linked to this message.
I think it would be easier to you if you have the entire file project.
it's a common problem in this stair shape
i suggest to draw the l shape stairs alone and make it stepped not sloped

Thanks for your message, could You be more precise please ?
You mean i draw the L stair and then I draw others steps with floors ?
divide your stair into two stairs one with L-Shape "draw using sketch as stepped stair"
then draw the rest ordinary one

Thanks for yours messages.
I've tried to modify the structural depth for 0.19m and it works. Despite this, why it works ? If I can have explanations that could be great.
Now I want to round the angles of the low steps but I am not reaching. I still have the same problem.
Here are the files to help you to understand.
Wouldn't this be the condition? Stairs begins at top of walkway/floor? Eliminate one tread, raise stairs to top of walkway/floor and then edit the walkway/floor sketch boundary to create the last "tread".
Sorry for the delay.
Thank you so much for your message, I will try on my project file what you have mentionned.
Do you have the project file on what you have made ?
Hi, I tried to create a new stair without round the angles but I'm not reaching. The only stair I made is basic. However, every time I want to modify the form of the steps ( enlarge and round them) it doesn't work. I must say, what barthbradley has done is what I want (finishing the stairs on the low floor with this form).
Please find my project in attached file

Thank you BarthBradley, Could you send me the file with this type of stair and explain me how you have made it ?
How about marking an Accepted Solution before proceeding on to the next issue? The original issue was satisfactorily resolved by changing the Structural Depth. No?
Unfortunately no, when I changed the structural depth it did not work and I think your second solution is better because the stair reached exactly at the level of the surface low floor in this project whereas in the first solution, the last step of the stair was directly in the floor and it was not optimal.
Sorry to hear that. I must have misread you when you said:

I did notice you used it too.
Okay. Whatever. Good luck.
No problem but what you have made seems to be optimal. Is it possible to send me what you have done ?
